Cardiovascular Risk Assessment

Designed by a leading cardiologist, our Cardiac Assessment uses non-invasive, high-definition testing methods to determine current status of heart health and predict future risks.  The assessment lasts about 30 minutes and includes:

1. Lipid profile - a combination of blood tests conducted together to check for any risks of coronary heart disease, or as a preventive measure to check any risks depending on factors like eating habits, diet, stress, exercise and life-style related.

2. EKG - a 12-lead EKG measures electrical signals in your heart.  An EKG will determine if your heart is beating at a normal rate and strength.

3. High definition carotid and femoral artery imaging - The largest and most effective arteries in your body to look at for signs of calcification, plaque, and thickening.  We gather high definition pictures of these arteries in your neck and pelvic regions.

4. Echocardiogram - provides a graphic outline of the hearts movement, including pictures and measurements of the heart's valves and chambers to evaluate the pumping action of the heart.

5. Pericardial Fat (PF) imagery - PF represents an important risk factor for cardiovascular disease because of its unique properties and its proximity to cardiac structures. It has been reported that PF volume is associated with atrial fibrillation.
